Today we're launching Lessons Learned by PayShepherd for Chrome. Open any page in your browser, click the PayShepherd icon, and the extension reads the page and drafts every distinct lesson it finds. No new tabs, no switching apps, no leaving the page you're on.
Why a browser extension
Across the industry, teams rely on a different system for nearly every use case. We wanted to deliver value no matter which tools our customers use, and the browser is the one place they all meet.
The extension works on any web-based system, any document, and any PDF you open in your browser. And it isn't limited to Chrome: it runs on all Chromium-based browsers, including Microsoft Edge.
One less step between you and your lessons
In conversation after conversation, customers told us the same thing. The documents created throughout a project's lifecycle are full of valuable lessons, but getting them into PayShepherd took work. Files couldn't always be downloaded, and when they could, you still had to upload them and wait for processing.
We wanted to remove that friction. If you've already opened a file, you shouldn't have to download it and upload it again. Now you can capture lessons right where you found them.
How it works
- Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store (https://tinyurl.com/y52k4a27)
- Click the PayShepherd icon in your browser and log in.
- Select your project.
- Run the extraction and review the lessons it drafts.
